We are living in the world of knowledge. Knowledge increases year after year. It is said every seven years it doubles.

This increasing knowledge has to be thought to the youngsters to the new generation for that we have teachers.

In teaching we began with oral teaching from the teacher to the student knowledge was communicated through words,through sentences , through speech later on when books writing came , printing press came book becomes good supplement for learning knowledge.

But this is not enough. There is a lot of change in Science and Technology provided new tools, so we have multimedia for communicating ideas.Through multi media we can easily communicate to the students. They learn without tiresomeness and interesting way this is what is happening.

Now we have greater expansions in education more number of colleges , more universities are coming into existence we need large number of teachers to teach all these things. But we are in short of good teachers, even today that is one of our difficulties in higher education to have good teachers .

Now to help in this we have online teaching. It is possible for a teacher to teach on line to thousands of Students not only in our place but in other places also that is happening.

Now this online teaching we can put into the websites so that students can visit the web sites and learn for themselves. This is the new way of learning. Student are eager to learn we must provide materials for them to learn and these materials are to be available to them at their home at the time convenient to them.

That is why we have online teaching and putting good teaching in the web site.

I am very happy that Ganesh Babu is very much interested in this. He is making arrangements to put a web site for good and effective teaching. He has contacted good teachers, experienced teachers and requested them to exhibit the teaching and they are all in the web site .

Now in this, his plan is to give it free to students any student who wants, he can visit the web site and learn at his convenience as many time as he wants he can view the lesions and learn at his convenience as many time as he wants he can view the lesions and learn.

In our country there is tradition that knowledge should not be priced you should be given it free.

I am very happy that he is planning to give it free to students , I am sure this plan will succeed and through this thousands and thousands of students will be able to visit the web site and learn for themselves in a very effective way from best teachers that's the most important thing experienced and best teachers who can explain things in a very clear and understandable way.
